Signature Entertainment is set to release Darren Lynn Bousman‘s female-driven horror film St. Agatha this February.
“Set in the 1950s in small-town Georgia, the film centers on a pregnant con woman named Agatha who is on the run and seeks refuge in a convent. What first starts out as the perfect place to have a child turns into a dark layer where silence is forced, ghastly secrets are masked, and every bit of willpower Agatha has is tested as she learns the sick and twisted truth of the convent and the odd people that lurk inside its halls.”
This psychological horror film stars Sabrina Kern, Carolyn Hennesy, Courtney Halverson, Trin Miller, Lindsay Seim, Hannah Fierman, and Seth Michaels.
Andy Demetrio, Shaun Fletcher, Sara Sometti Michaels, and Clint Sears wrote the film executive produced by Kimberly Bedrin, Philip Bedrin, Andy Demetrio, Shaun Fletcher, Rick Le, Jeff Trier, and Kevin Traier.
Bousman is known for his fantastic horror films, including Saw II-IV, Mother’s Day, Abattoir, Holliston, and Repo! The Genetic Opera.
St. Agatha arrives on Blu-ray and DVD in the UK on February 11, 2019, with its arrival in US theaters and on VOD to follow early next year.
