In Rob Zombie’s 2003 film House of 1,000 Corpses, we were introduced to the Firefly family, Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), Otis (Bill Moseley), Tiny (Matthew McGrory), Mother (Karen Black), and Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig). In 2005 the family was back to continue its reign of terror. Captain Spaulding became an iconic representation of bad clowns. Now, Zombie’s new film Three From Hell will arrive next year. A new image from the film has surfaced revealing Spaulding won’t be the only clown this time around.
Zombie shared the image via social media with the question, “Who is this fucking clown?” We may not know a lot of the details about the character Mr. Baggy Britches, which is a twist on the classic sad clown, but we do know who is playing the role; it’s acting veteran Clint Howard. Howard has starred in over 250 films, many of them being horror films such as Night Shift, Silent Night, Deadly Night 5, Ticks, Leprechaun 2, Ice Cream Man, Addams Family Reunion, Halloween (2007), and Zombie’s The Lords of Salem.

In Three From Hell, Baby, Otis, and Captain Spaulding after somehow surviving their brutal wounds from the standoff with police in the final moments of The Devil’s Rejects, find themselves in police custody and being put on trial.
