Great news Tremors fans, Universal has now officially given the go-ahead for the next installment of the franchise. Franchise star Michael Gross confirmed he is returning to reprise his role as survivalist and gun nut Burt Gummer.
Tremors fans will be delighted to know I have just agreed to the terms of a contract for a SEVENTH film. My best estimate is that Burt Gummer will begin his hunt for Graboids and other nefarious forms of wildlife in the fall of 2019.”
Gummer is the only character that has appeared in all seven films from the 1990 original movie to Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell which arrived on Blu-ray and DVD earlier this year. In the movie Burt and Travis head to the Arctic after getting a call that Ass Blasters have been spotted at a research facility.
