Skyline Entertainment has now announced the early 2019 release date for writer-director Daniel Farrand’s supernatural film The Amityville Murders.
Skyline Entertainment has set the date for the North American release of the horror film The Amityville Murders from writer/director Daniel Farrands.
Based on true events, the film serves as a prequel to the 1979 classic The Amityville Horror and tells the disturbing story of the DeFeo family and the events that led to the night of November 13, 1974, when Ronald DeFeo Jr. murdered his entire family as they slept. DeFeo blamed a supernatural force in the home and insisted that voices told him to kill his family.
John Robinson (“Elephant”), Chelsea Ricketts (“Crooked Arrows”), Diane Franklin (“Better Off Dead”), Paul Ben-Victor(“Daredevil”), Lainie Kazan (“My Big Fat Greek Wedding”) and Burt Young (“Rocky”) star.
Farrands, Eric Brenner (All I Wish) and Lucas Jarach (Dear Dictator) produced the film that was executive produced by Jim Jacobsen (The Haunting of Sharon Tate).
The Amityville Murders is set to open in theaters and arrive on VOD and Digital HD on February 8, 2019.
