Netflix has made many viewers happy today by announcing that they have officially renewed their hit horror series “The Haunting of Hill House” for its second season with a teaser trailer. They also revealed that they have signed the series’ creator Mike Flanagan to an exclusive deal that means more projects will debut on Netflix from the director of Oculus, Hush, and Gerald’s Game.
“The Haunting of Hill House” is now officially an anthology series with each season being titled “The Haunting of…” In the second season, titled “The Haunting of Bly Manor”, we will be introduced to new characters and a new story, inspired by the works of Henry James, will be featured that does not connect to season one. We will see a few a familiar faces though, several of the first season’s cast will be returning.
We will have to wait a while to see season two, it’s set to premiere in 2020, but at least we know it’s coming.
