Filming is set to begin this summer on Jason Reitman‘s new sequel to Ghostbusters. Today, word has come via Variety that “Stranger Things” and IT star Finn Wolfhard is in talks to star along with Carrie Coon (Widows).

While many of the plot details are being kept hush, hush, we do know that the film will center on a single mom (Coon) and her son (Wolfhard).

Rumor is, all three surviving Ghostbusters will be returning. But it has yet to officially be announced. Reitman co-wrote the script with Gil Kenan for the sequel that completely bypasses the 2016 female-driven film.

“Who you gonna call?” The Ghostbusters – in theaters July 10, 2020.
