Director Alexandre Aja, who was also behind The Hills Have Eyes and High Tension, has announced that his creature feature Crawl has a new release date.
Produced by Sam Raimi (The Evil Dead, Spider-Man) and co-written by Michael and Shawn Rasmussen, Crawl stars Kaya Scodelario (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) as a young woman trapped in a house during a Catagory 5 hurricane. If that wasn’t bad enough, she must face Florida’s most savage predators, alligators.
Originally set to open in theaters this August, Crawl is coming early, on July 12, 2019.
