Ahead of Dave Bautista‘s big match Sunday night at WrestleMania we’ve learned that the Guardians of the Galaxy star will face the undead in Zack Snyder‘s upcoming big budget movie Army of the Dead, THR reports.

Set to begin filming later this year, the film is set “amid a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, during which a man assembles a group of mercenaries to take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantined zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.”

There are no handcuffs on me at all with this one,” Snyder told THR. “It will be the most kick-ass, self-aware — but not in a wink-to-the-camera way — balls-to-the-wall zombie freakshow that anyone has ever seen.”

Snyder will direct as well as produce Army of the Dead alongside his wife Deborah under his Stone Quarry banner. The zombie flick was penned by Joby Harold, based on a story by Snyder.
