The next film from The Conjuring Universe is the Gary Dauberman-directed Annebelle Comes Home in which a horde of entities attached to haunted objects are released from the Warren’s museum.
One of those entities is The Bride, attached to a haunted wedding dress. We are introduced to The Bride in a new teaser, leaving us to wonder if she will be the star of another Conjuring Universe spin-off. In fact, we will meet several new entities in Annabelle Comes Home meaning we may have several new possible spin-offs.
The legend of The Bride goes something like this: when a new bride slips on the dress she is eventually driven to stab her groom to death. What was meant to be a bride’s happiest day comes to a bloody, deadly end. The blood stains disappear from the dress and once again it finds its way up for sale, waiting to ruin another wedding day. By the time Ed (Patrick Willson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga) is called in to investigate the dress, it has already driven seven brides to murder.
