Last month we reported that a new Saw installment was on its way from funnyman Chris Rock. After the news broke, a rumor surfaced that Samuel L. Jackson (Snakes on A Plane, Deep Blue Sea, every Marvel movie) will star alongside Rock. Today, Bloody-Disgusting confirmed that the rumors are indeed true. Now we can’t help but wonder if there will be m*therf*ckin’ snakes in a m*therf*ckin’ trap.
Darren Lynn Bousman will return to direct. Bousman took the reins from franchise creators James Wan and Leigh Whannell who have and will continue to produce the films. Jigsaw screenwriters Pete Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg penned the script based on an idea by Rock.
There is no word yet if Tobin Bell will return as Jigsaw.
