Jared Leto is currently in talks to star alongside Denzel Washington and Rami Malek in Warner Bros.’ new crime thriller The Little Things, Variety reports.
John Lee Hancock who is behind The Blindside and Netflix’s The Highwaymen will be writing and directing The Little Things.
The story follows a burned-out California deputy named Deke (Washinton) who teams up with Baxter, an LASD detective (Malek) to catch a serial killer. Deke’s nose for the “little things” proves eerily accurate, but his willingness to circumvent the rules embroils Baxter in a soul-shattering dilemma. Meanwhile, Deke must wrestle with a dark secret from his past.
If Leto signs on he will play the role of the serial killer in the movie, set to begin shooting this fall.
