Anthony Michael Hall (The Breakfast Club, War Machine) has joined the cast of Halloween Kills alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, Variety is reporting.

Get this, Hall will be playing the role of Tommy Doyle, who appeared in the original Halloween as one of the kids Curtis’ Laurie Strode was babysitting. The first time we saw Doyle as an adult was in Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (the sixth film of the original franchise) and was played by Paul Rudd. But the new Halloween storyline avoids all of the old sequels. 2018’s Halloween picked up right after the 1978 original.

Filmmaker and composer John Carpenter will be returning to create the score for both Halloween Kills and its planned sequel Halloween Ends, both announced last month.

David Gordan Green will be returning to direct and co-write both films along with Danny McBride.

Halloween Kills will open in theaters on Friday, October 16, 2020, followed by Halloween Ends on Friday, October 15, 2021.
