Netflix‘s adaptation of Stephen King and Joe Hill‘s novella In the Tall Grass finally has a premiere date!
Set to debut on the streaming giant this October, the film stars Harrison Gilbertson, Laysla De Oliveira, Avery Whitted, Will Buie Jr., Rachel Wilson, and Patrick Wilson.
In the film, When siblings Becky and Cal hear the cries of a young boy lost within a field of tall grass, they venture in to rescue him, only to become ensnared themselves by a sinister force that quickly disorients and separates them. Cut off from the world and unable to escape the field’s tightening grip, they soon discover that the only thing worse than getting lost is being found.
Splice’s Steve Hoban, Jimmy Miller from Mosaic, and M. Riley produce. Miller and Riley together produced 2015’s The Lazarus Effect.
Enter ‘In the Tall Grass’, premiering on Netflix October 4, 2019, as part of their October celebration, Netflix and Chills, which includes the release of several films including Fractured, Eli, and Rattlesnake.
