Genre icon and Evil Dead director Sam Raimi is back in the director’s chair for “50 States of Fright”, a new horror anthology series. Ahead of its premiere on Quibi this April, we’ve got the first trailer.

The series will explore stories and urban legends from each state, giving viewers a look at the horrors that lurk just beneath the surface of the U.S. Season one will feature legends from Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Oregon, and Washington.

Raimi, who executive produces the series, directed and co-wrote the episode “The Golden Arm”, in which a man marries a woman with a golden arm. When she dies, he’s not willing to let it go, but neither is she.

50 States of Fright” is produced by Gunpowder & Sky and executive produced by Sam Raimi, Debbie Liebling, Van Toffler, Tony DiSanto, Barry Barclay, Cody Zwieg, Chris Mangano, and Tommy Coriale.
