Souls fans will be happy to hear that the first set of gameplay footage for Cold Symmetry and Playstack’s souls-like game Mortal Shell will be on its way very soon as it will make its presence felt at the upcoming gaming festivals!
With major public events canceled for the year due to COVID-19, a new string of events dubbed “2020 Summer of Digital Showcases” as many gaming news sites and game companies will be holding their own digital expos showcasing their upcoming games. The first official gameplay footage for Mortal Shell will make its world debut at IGN Summer of Gaming on June 5th.
With over 2 million views of its first trailer and overwhelming support on its Discord channel, Mortal Shell is already racking up a large fanbase of players eager to dive into the torturous experience that Souls fans love.
Mortal Shell will take players to a twisted medieval world where they possess the bodies of dead warriors and do the bidding of the “Dark Father” and go deep into the inner sanctums to defeat foes and harvest the sacred glands. The bodies of the fallen warriors each have their own set of skills and abilities that players can harness to their use in this dark world.
