We’ve got good news and bad news for those waiting to see Halloween Kills. Let’s start with the good. First, the first footage has been released.
Next, Composer and executive producer John Carpenter, director David Gordan Green, and co-writer Danny McBride have all teased new details of Halloween Kills over the past week.
The cut is done. They’ll mix it in New York in the next week or so.” Carpenter told Indiewire. “Then it will be in the can. My work is all done.” He went on to tease, “The movie is something else. It’s fun, intense and brutal, a slasher movie times one hundred, big time. It’s huge.”
Green offers more details about the movie’s plot in this week’s Empire Magazine Big-Screen Preview.
The first one was more about Laurie’s life of isolation after Michael and her attempts at revenge. This is more about the unraveling of a community into chaos. It’s about how fear spreads virally.” The director shared.
McBride shared with Empire that “Halloween Kills takes place on the same night as Halloween 2018.” He also revealed that it picks up right where Halloween ends.
Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Kyle Richards, and Nancy Stephens are all returning along with Charle Cyphers of the original film who is reprising his role as Sheriff Brackett. Anthony Michael Hall stars as Tommy Doyle.
