HBO’s new limited series “The Third Day,” starring Jude Law, is set to premiere this September with six episodes separated into two seasons, Summer and Winter. We’ve got the new trailer that gives off a serious “Wicker Man” vibe.
Created by Dennis Kelly and Felix Barrett, the series follows Sam, a man drawn to a mysterious island off of the British coast, who encounters a group of islanders set on preserving their traditions at any cost. Helen, a strong-willed outsider comes to the island seeking answers – but whose arrival precipitates a fractious battle to decide its fate.
Naomie Harris, Katherine Waterston, Emily Watson, and Paddy Considine also star in “The Third Day,” premiering on HBO on September 14th at 9 pm.
