From director and horror mainstay Darren Lynn Bousman comes a new thrilling tale of terror, black magic, and murder, Death of Me. The new pulse-pounding trailer teases an intense supernatural mystery that will make you think twice about traveling to exotic places.
Written by Ari Margolis, James Morley III, and David Tish, Death of Me stars Maggie Q (Fantasy Island), Luke Hemsworth (“Westworld”), and Alex Essoe (Doctor Sleep).
“Vacationing on an island off the coast of Thailand, Christine (Maggie Q) and Neil Oliver (Luke Hemsworth) awake hungover and with no memory of the previous night. They find footage on Neil’s camera, and watch, horrified, as Neil appears to murder Christine. With twenty-four hours until the next ferry and a typhoon threatening the island, Christine and Neil attempt to reconstruct the night’s events—and are snared in a web of mystery, black magic, and murder.”
Bousman has a long history of providing genre fans the scares they crave with films such as Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV, the anthology Tales of Halloween, and the oh so awesome Repo! The Genetic Opera. He also has another horror film coming out, Spiral, starring Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson which has been delayed to the pandemic. It opens in theaters on May 21, 2021.
Death of Me casts its spell on October 2, 2020, when it lands in theaters, On Demand and Digital, from Saban Films.
