Fox’s hit serial killer/police series “Prodigal Son” is officially returning for its second season this winter and we couldn’t be happier!
Tom Payne returns as the main character, criminal profiler Malcolm Payne whose serial killer father known as “The Surgeon” (Michael Sheen) will be returning as well. Malcolm’s mother (Bellamy Young) and sister (Halson Sage) will also be back.
The first season centered on Malcolm as he deals with memories of his terrible childhood and faces his father to not only get answers but ask for help with cases. No plot details have been released yet for the new season.
Season two of “Prodigal Son” premieres on January 12, 2021, on FOX and Hulu.
