The Netflix Original Army of the Dead, from director Zach Snyder, is headed your way, as is Army of the Dead: The Prequel, directed by Matthias Schweighöefer, which Snyder produces.
Snyder took to Twitter to share the news that the prequel has just wrapped filming.

Actor and filmmaker Matthias Schweighöefer stars in the prequel as well as directs. The film also stars Nathalie Emmanuel, Ruby O’Fee, Stuart Martin, and Guztavo Khanage.
Shay Hatten (Army of the Dead) penned the screenplay. Snyder and Schweighöfer produce along with Deborah Snyder, Wesley Coller, and Dan Maag.
Army of the Dead, currently in post-production, is described as a spiritual successor to Dawn of the Dead and follows a group of elite mercenaries as they plot a heist on a Las Vegas casino during a zombie outbreak. Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Ana De La Reguera, Theo Rossi, Huma Qureshi, Omari Hardwick, Hiroyuki Sanada, Garret Dillahunt, Matthias Schweighöfer, Raúl Castillo, Nora Arnezeder, and Samantha Win star.
