Boyd Holbrook (Gone Girl, The Predator) leads the cast in writer-director Sean Ellis‘ Eight for Silver, which just made its world premiere at Sundance with glowing reviews.
Set in the 1800s, the film centers on John McBride (Holbrook), a pathologist, visits a British village and agrees to help the Laurent family search for their missing child who may be the victim of a wolf attack. But McBride has another theory, that the creature is a manifestation of a gypsy curse, a werewolf.
Kelly Reilly (“Yellowstone”), Alistar Petrie (Star Wars: Rogue One), Roxane Duran (“Riviera”), and Nigel Betts (“Eastenders”) also star.
Mickey Liddell and Pete Shilaimon produced the film on behalf of LD, which financed the production.
The trailer should arrive along with the release date soon.
