Sam Raimi and director Corin Hardy (The Nun) are teaming up for the new horror movie Every House is Haunted, Deadline is reporting.
The Netflix movie was penned by Jason Pagan and Andrew Deutschman, the writing team behind Project Almanac, and is based on Ian Rogers’ short story The House on Ashley Avenue.
Every House is Haunted centers on an insurance investigator who tries to debunk claims that a couple’s death was caused by a haunted house, but his doubts are challenged by a psychic and the mysterious occurrences he witnesses with his own eyes.
Genre legend Sam Raimi will be producing under his Raimi Productions banner along with Roy Lee under his Vertigo Entertainment. Vertigo’s Andrew Childs will be executive producing.
