The new clip from Ghostbusters: Afterlife reveals that the iconic Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man is back, but in a new absolutely adorable form, mini Marshmallow Men! But don’t let their looks fool you, they’re evil. Watch as one tries to take a bite out of Paul Rudd.
The eagerly awaited new installment of the franchise is a sequel to the first two films released in the 80s and follows a single mom (Carrie Coon) and her two kids (Finn Wolfhard and McKenna Grace) as they move to their grandfather’s and discover their family’s ties to the Ghostbusters. Events force the kids to pick up where their grandfather left off in an attempt to save the town.
Paul Rudd (Antman) stars alongside Mckenna Grace (Captain Marvel), Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things), and Carrie Coon (Gone Girl). Most of the cast of the original are returning including Sigourney Weaver, Bill Murray, and Dan Aykroyd. Afterlife is directed by Jason Reitman, who co-wrote the script along with Gil Kenan.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife was originally set to arrive in theaters last summer, but has been delayed several times since thanks to the pandemic. The most recent release date was announced as November 11, 2022, let’s hope it sticks.
