Tomorrow, the highly anticipated trailer for Neill Blomkamp‘s new horror film, Demonic, will give us our first real look at the film from the director of District 9, Elysium, and Chappie. Keep an eye out for the trailer we will share tomorrow! In the meantime, we’ve got something to whet your appetite!

In Demonic, “A young woman unleashes terrifying demons when supernatural forces at the root of a decades-old rift between mother and daughter are ruthlessly revealed in this horror-thriller” from IFC Midnight.

Carly Pope (Elysium), Chris William Martin (The Age of Adaline, Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, TV’s “The Vampire Diaries”), and Michael Rogers (TV’s “Siren”, “The Blacklist”, “Supernatural”) are set to star in the supernatural horror.

IFC Midnight will release Demonic in theaters on August 20th followed by an On-Demand and Digital release on August 27, 2021.
