The full cast has now been revealed for the upcoming six-part limited series “The Witcher: Blood Origin,” which serves as a prequel to the Netflix hit series “The Witcher.”
Set in an elven world 1200 years before the world of “The Witcher”, “the series will tell a story lost to time and the creation of the first Witcher and the story of how the events leading to the pivotal “conjunction of the spheres,” unfold which saw the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merge and become one.”
Laurence O’Fuarain (“Vikings”, pictured above), Sophia Brown (Éile), and Michelle Yeoh (Scían) star alongside Mirren Mack, Lenny Henry, Jacob Collins-Levy, Huw Novelli, Lizzie Annis, Amy Murray, Francesca Mills, Amy Murray, Zach Wyatt, Nathaniel Curtis, Zach Wyatt, and Dylan Moran.
Sarah O’Gorman (Cursed, The Last Kingdom) will direct “Blood Origins” along with Vicky Jewson (Close, Born of War). The series began filming earlier this month. Declan de Barra is serving as both showrunner and executive producer.
