Energy drinks and gaming go together like chocolate and peanut butter, but with so many brands on the market now it’s hard to choose which is the best, and healthier option as so many energy drinks are just back with sugar and caffeine. Let me introduce you to JuJu Energy! A big thank you to JuJu for letting me try out one of their products and making this review happen!
With their NO BS policy, everything you need to know what’s in the powder mix is on the label, and their website gives complete transparency so you know what you’re putting in you. I got the flavor Watermelon Crush, the powder in the tub is very fine and dissolves well in water. I also was sent a 16OZ shaker cup, in HORROR FUEL colors, of course, I will say when you want to use the shaker, make sure you have the lid on very tight as I experience small leaks while shaking.
Now to the taste of the Watermelon Crush, if you’re a fan of watermelon flavored chewing cum, then you will like this. Both sweet and tart, it was actually quite pleasant to drink, lacking the weird energy drink aftertaste that no one seems to want to talk about thanks to the fact JuJu uses natural flavors which is a massive plus from me! If you’re expecting a massive jolt of energy, don’t, this formula helps you mentally to stay focused, gives you energy with the help of natural caffeine with no help from sugars to keep you alert, helps with memory, and the main thing JuJu focuses on more than others, eye health.
After drinking it and waiting a few minutes before going into a couple of hours of World War Z: Aftermath, I noticed I was a bit sharper with my reaction times, that was about it, to be honest. A big thing I noticed was the lack of having the jitters/crashing feeling when the stuff wore off, no shakes or sweats I sometimes get after having an energy drink.
Overall, I really enjoyed JuJu, the no-BS approach really works as it’s clear they trust their product, as well as the consumer’s choice, the flavor of the watermelon, was good, the boost in energy without feeling over-caffeinated was a plus. Overall if you’re a big energy drinker, you really should give JuJu a try, especially since they have some awesome flavors, they just recently released a Sour Gummy Worm flavor and in time for the Thanksgiving Season they’ll be having Pumpkin Spice!
Since they rate their products from 1-5, I’m giving them a 5!
