Following a wildly successful run on the global film festival circuit and a wide physical and digital release, Horror Business Films and Shout! Studios have announced the ad-supported and subscription-based release of Martin Guigui’s The Unhealer.

 

 

In the film, A botched faith healing bestows supernatural Shaman powers on a bullied teenager. When his lifelong tormentors pull a prank that kills someone he loves, he uses his powers for revenge and goes on a bloody rampage to settle the score.

 

 

Directed by writer and producer Martin Guigui (Beneath the Darkness, The Bronx Bull, Future World), the film stars genre favorites Natasha Henstridge (Species, The Whole Nine Yards) and Lance Henriksen (Aliens, Near Dark). The cast is rounded out by TikTok superstar Elijah Nelson (“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”, “S.W.A.T.”), Kayla Carlson (“Why Women Kill,” “Widow Detective”), Adam Beach (Suicide Squad, Cowboys & Aliens), Chris Browning (“Westworld”, “Bosch”), Cristi Harris (Night of the Demons 2) and Branscombe Richmond (The Scorpion King, Hard To Kill).

 

 

The film is a production of Horror Business Films in association with 7 Ideas, Gard Dog Productions, Sunset Pictures, and Bloodstone Films, The Unhealer, a Martin Guigui Film, is produced by Galen Walker, Cristi Harris, J. Shawn Harris, and Tony Hannagan. Executive producers are James Gardner and Hamish Gibson.

 

 

The Unhealer is a blood-splattered supernatural thriller, a twist on the superhero’s coming-of-age story, will be available on Roku and additional platforms this month. It is currently available on Blu-ray, DVD, and a number of digital and cable platforms, including iTunes, Amazon Video, Vudu, Comcast, Spectrum, and Cox.
