Steam Next Fest has officially kicked with demos being released of several upcoming titles, including Cyberpunk Turbo Overkill, which will be released later this year on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox consoles, and Switch.
In Overkill, inspired by 90s FPS shooters like Quake and Doom, gamers play the role of Johnny Turbo, a half-human, half-cyborg armed to the teeth, carrying hardware like rockets. Oh, and Johnny has a chainsaw in his bionic leg. In His Leg! The game sees Johnny return to his hometown only to find the entire population possessed by the rogue AI, Syn. Out for the reward money, Johnny sets out to destroy Syn, the problem is he’s not the only one out for the cash.
In the demo, we see three of the two-dozen levels with plenty of action, as well as secrets to uncover, and badass weapons.
