Paramount+ is locked and loaded and has just unleashed the second trailer for their upcoming out-of-this-world “Halo” series adaptation, based on the hit game.

Pablo Schreiber (“American Gods”) stars as Master Chief. Jen Taylor is reprising her role from the video game series as Master Chief’s AI companion, Cortana. Danny Sapani (“Penny Dreadful”), Olive Gray (“Half Moon Investigations”), and Charlie Murphy (“Peaky Blinders”) also star. The cast also includes Natascha McElhone (“Californication”), Emmy nominee Bokeem Woodbine (“Fargo”), Shabana Azmi (Fire), Natasha Culzac (“The Witcher”), Bentley Kalu (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Kate Kennedy (“Catastrophe”) and Yerin Ha (Reef Break).

The series is produced by 343 Industries and Amblin Television, and follows “an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant.”

Otto Bathurst is directing the action-packed series, with Kyle Killen and Steven Kane serving as showrunners.

Halo,” which has already been renewed for a second season, premieres on March 24, 2022, on Paramount+.
