Now IllFonic has brought your childhood dream to (after)life with their upcoming multiplayer game Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed! This 4v1 game allows you and three friends to be Ghostbusters while another friend is a pesky ghost with the objective to cause as much paranormal trouble as possible and make the Ghostbusters’ job difficult, while our heroes have to complete objectives to prevent the location they’re at from becoming too haunted.
Ernie Hudson is back to voice Winston who gives you objectives back at the firehouse before each mission, and you can visit Ray at his occult bookstore. Players will be able to customize their Ghostbuster and Ghost and practice using all sorts of Ghostbusting gear. Thanks to cross-platform multiplayer, anyone on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and/or Xbox Series X|S or One can come together to cross the streams or spew slime. AI companions can help fill games or enable solo Ghostbusters or a solo Ghost to play offline.
