“Only Murders in the Building” the Hulu series that parodies America’s love affair with true crime podcasts, is getting a second season. Originally conceived as a limited series, the overwhelming response from fans made a second season a no-brainer. During the Oscars, fans of the murder series got their first glimpse of the new season thanks to the new teaser trailer.
Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez return this season and are joined by new cast member Cara Delevingne. Oscar host and comedian Amy Schumer also makes an appearance this season. “Only Murders in the Building” was created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, who also serve as executive producers alongside Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Dan Fogelman, and Jess Rosenthal.
This season, “Following the shocking death of Arconia Board President Bunny Folger, Charles, Oliver & Mabel race to unmask her killer. However, three (unfortunate) complications ensue — the trio is publicly implicated in Bunny’s homicide, they are now the subjects of a competing podcast, and they have to deal with a bunch of New York neighbors who all think they committed murder.”
