The upcoming dark comedic thriller The Kill Room already has an impressive cast that includes Umma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson. Deadline is reporting the latest addition to the cast is “True Blood” and Magic Mike actor Joe Manganiello.
Directed by Nicol Paone (Friendsgiving, Funny People) and written by Jonathan Jacobson (“Mark Lives In Ikea”), the movie tells the story of “a hitman (Manganiello), his boss (Jackson), and an art dealer (Thurman) whose money-laundering scheme accidentally turns the hitman into an overnight avant-garde sensation forcing Thurman’s character to play the art world against the underworld.”
Jordan Beckerman, Jordan Yale Levine, and Jon Keeyes for Yale Productions produce along with Anne Clements of Idiot Savant Pictures, Paone, Thurman, Dannielle Thomas, and Jason Weinberg from Untitled Entertainment, and William Rosenfeld of Such Content.
