ITN Distribution is unleashing their new Chinese creature feature, Land Shark, about, you guessed it, a shark that roams the land looking for its next meal this May.
The cheesy “mockbuster” looks to be a cross of Deep Blue Sea and Tremors and features a ton of really bad CGI. So if you’re looking for some mindless fun, this movie’s for you.
In Land Shark, “A scientific group attempting to genetically modify a shark creates a destructive deadly machine, that even they can’t control. After breaking free from captivity, this new predator goes on a rampage looking for its favorite meal…humans.”
Directed by Cheng Si-Yu and starring Luo Li-Qun, Xi Mei-Li, and Tang Xin, Land Shark swims onto DVD on May 10, 2022.
