This summer, the hunt is on. From Dan Trachtenberg, the director of 10 Cloverfield Lane, comes the highly-anticipated new installment of the Predator franchise, Prey.
The movie follows Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. She has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people, stalking and ultimately fighting what turns out to be an alien predator.
Prey features a cast that almost entirely features Native American stars including Amber Midthunder (The Ice Road, “Roswell, New Mexico”), Stormee Kipp (Sooyii), and Julian Black Antelope (Tribal), Michelle Thrush (The Journey Home), and Dakota Beavers.
Written by Patrick Aison (Jack Ryan), the film is produced by John Davis (Jungle Cruise, The Predator), Lawrence Gordon (“Watchmen”), Marty Ewing (IT: Chapter Two), and Jhane Myers (Monsters of God).
Witness the hunt and the battle for survival when Prey premieres exclusively on Hulu on August 5, 2022.
