The LGBTQ+ horror-comedy Summoning Sylvia is slashing its way onto Digital today!
“The movie follows a gay bachelor party which takes a spooky turn when the groom’s straight ex-military brother crashes the proceedings, and sinister spirits are summoned.”
Summoning Sylvia was directed by Wesley Taylor (a Broadway veteran known for Rock of Ages and The Addams Family) and Alex Wyse (returning to Broadway this season in Good Night Oscar), making their directorial debuts, which they also wrote together.
The directors commented, “Ultimately a celebration of queer friendship, the film explores the assumptions we make about each other, which can lead to some super silly scary spooky s—!”
The cast includes Travis Coles (Dollhouse), Frankie Grande (Spree), Michael Urie (Ugly Betty), Troy Iwata (Dash & Lily), Noah Ricketts (American Gods), Nicholas Logan (I Care a Lot), Tony-nominee Veanne Cox, Camden Garcia (Station 19) and Sean Grandillo (Scream: The TV Series).
Summoning Sylvia is coming to VOD and Digital release on April 7th.
