Back in 2015, the found footage indie horror Hell House LLC took the genre by storm. Two sequels followed, Hell House LLC: The Abaddon Hotel and Hell House LLC: Lake of Fire. Fans of the franchise will be excited to learn that now a prequel is on the way, Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor.
Stephen Cognetti, who wrote and directed every film of the franchise, has now taken to social media to announce that the prequel has now begun filming, posting a picture and the caption “Day 1.”

Terror Films describes Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor as “the first chapter of what will become known as the Hell House LLC Origin Films,” so it sounds like we’ll have multiple Hell House LLC prequels to look forward to. This one will show what happens when a group of cold case investigators stay at the Carmichael Manor, the site of the gruesome and unsolved murders of the Carmichael family back in the eighties. After four nights, the group was never heard from again. What is discovered on their recovered footage is even more disturbing than anything found on the Hell House tapes.”
