Focus Entertainment has just released a new trailer for their upcoming game, Aliens: Dark Decent. The trailer not only teases the game’s plot but also gives us a look at a new breed of Xenomorphs.
In Aliens: Dark Descent, “the horrors and wonders of an authentic Alien narrative unfold through a cinematic campaign full of sinister secrets, iconic Xenomorphs, and brand-new threats. A range of tactical abilities come into play to recruit, level up and command a squad of Colonial Marines in real-time and as one unit with intuitive controls on both keyboard & mouse and controller. Any command issued over comms is swiftly obeyed by the Marine best equipped for the situation according to their abilities and equipment. Players must use their wits to navigate expansive, persistent, and reactive levels. However, each marine’s vitals should be monitored cautiously — for death is permanent.”
Focus also announced some preorder details. If you purchase the $39.99 game on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, or PC before June 20th, you will get the “Lethe Recon Pack,” which comes with black armor for the player’s team and a unique feline companion, a nod to the cat featured in the original Alien movie.
