The fifth and final season of Netflix’s hit series “Stranger Things” is coming at some point, being delayed due to the writers’ strike. But we do have some good news. The series continues to announce new cast members, with the latest star to join being the badass star of the Terminator franchise, Linda Hamilton. We don’t know exactly who she’ll be playing yet, but it will be great to see her in action.
In last season, the kids finally faced off against Vecna. Unfortunately, he got away. Hawkins is left in ruins, Sadie is in a coma, and fans were left heartbroken over the death of Joseph Quinn’s character Eddie. But did he? There’s a rumor going around that Joseph Quinn will return as Eddie, sort of, but that has not been confirmed.
The ensemble cast of the hit series from the Duffer brothers includes Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Sadie Sink, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Cara Buono, Priah Ferguson, and Brett Gelman.
When a premiere date is announced, we’ll let you know. In the meantime, here’s a look back at the trailer for the previous season of “Stranger Things.”
