What’s worse than being caught in a natural disaster? Being caught in a natural disaster with hordes of hungry gators. That’s the case in The Flood, starring Casper Van Dien (Starship Troopers), Nicky Whelan (Hall Pass), and Louis Mandylor (“Friends”, and more).

Directed by Brandon Stagle (Breakout) and written by Chad Law and Josh Ridgway, The Flood sees a horde of giant hungry alligators unleashed on a group of in-transit prisoners and their guards after a massive hurricane floods Louisiana.

In our interview with producer Deamon Hillin, he went into detail about not one the story but how the special effects brought the gators to life and the challenges of making a natural disaster film. Check it out.

The Flood opens in theaters and arrives on VOD, and Digital on July 14, 2023, from Saban Films.
