Ahead of its world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival this Friday, July 28th, Shudder has released the first look and the official poster for The Sacrifice Game starring Mena Massoud (Aladdin, Evolving Vegan) and Olivia Scott Welch (Fear Street, Lucky Hank).
“It’s bad enough that boarding school students Samantha and Clara can’t go home for the holidays, but things take a deadly turn when a gang of cult killers arrives on their doorstep—just in time for Christmas.”
The cast also includes Gus Kenworthy (“AHS”), Chloë Levine (“The OA”), Madison Baines (1UP), Derek Johns (“The Boys”), Laurent Pitre, and Georgia Acken.
The fright-filled film was co-written by Wexler and Sean Redlitz and produced by Philip Kalin-Hajdu, Albert I. Melamed, Heather Buckley, and Todd Slater. Executive producers are Kalin-Hajdu and Melamed; Emily Gotto and Samuel Zimmerman of Shudder.
The Sacrifice Game will make its International Premiere next month at the closing night film at London’s FrightFest and will be coming to Shudder and AMC+ later this year.
