Not only is season 4 of “The Boys” heading your way, but so is a new live-action spin-off series, “Gen V,” and the first bloody, action-packed trailer has just arrived, giving us a first look at the characters.
The new series is set at a college run by Vought International for young-adult Supes. The series is described as “an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities.”
The series’ massive cast includes Clancy Brown, Jaz Sinclair, Jason Ritter, Chance Perdomo, Shelley Conn, Lizzie Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Derek Luh, Sean Patrick Thomas, Alexander Calvert, Marco Pigossi, with appearances by Jessie T. Usher, P.J. Byrne, and Colby Minifie from “The Boys.” The spin-off is produced by Seth Rogen, Eric Kripke, and Evan Goldberg.
The first three episodes of “Gen V” will premiere on Prime Video on September 29, 2023, with a new episode being released weekly.
