Level 33 Entertainment’s new horror fantasy, Belle, a darker, more brutal reimagining of the classic story “Beauty and the Beast,” is coming home this August.
“Belle would do anything to save her ailing father, so she journeys in search of a mythical rose believed to be a cure. As payment for the rose, Belle must surrender herself to a vicious beast and battle his spell.”
The film stars Starring Andrea Snædal (“Silicon Beach”), Ingi Hrafn Hilmarsson (The Noise of Engines, “Silicon Beach”), Hana Vagnerová (“Female Factor,” “Beat on Friendship”), Gudmundur Thorvaldsson (Take 5, Eleven Men Out), Helga Braga Jónsdóttir (“Stitch n’ Bitch,” “Women at War”), and Sigurður Sigurjónsson (“The Valhalla Murders,” “Under The Tree”).
Written and directed by Max Gold (Surfer’s Paradise, Silicon Beach, Classic of Changes), Belle premieres On Demand on August 22, 2023.
