The twelfth installment of the “American Horror Story” is heading your way later this month. Titled “American Horror Story: Delicate,” this season is based on the book ‘Delicate Condition’ by Danielle Valentine.
“AHS” veteran Emma Roberts returns for the season along with fellow returning cast members Denis O’Hare and Zachary Quinto. Newcomers for “Delicate” include Cara Delevingne, Matt Czuchry, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Odessa A’zion, and Kim Kardashian.
The posters and teasers that have been released often feature a motherhood theme as well as spiders. Valentine’s book centers on Anna Alcott (Roberts), an indie actress trying to balance her increasingly public life with a grueling IVF journey. As she tries to have a family, she starts to suspect that someone is going to great lengths to make sure that never happens. Set in a remote snowbound town, the story sees Anna feeling isolated and that whoever has been following her is closing in on her and her unborn child.
Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk for cable network FX, the series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television.
Season 12, “American Horror Story: Delicate,” is set to premiere on September 20, 2023, on FX and Hulu and will be released in two parts.
