Godzilla is back! Godzilla Minus One, the first Japanese Godzilla movie since 2016’s Shin Godzilla, is headed your way and has a new trailer.

“In postwar Japan, a new terror rises, Godzilla. Will the devastated people be able to survive… let alone fight back?”

Ryunosuke Kamiki and Minami Hamabe lead the cast. Takashi Yamazaki (Lupin III: The First) directs Godzilla Minus One, which marks the 30th live-action film of Toho’s Kaiju franchise, which began in 1954 with Ishirô Honda’s Gojira (aka Godzilla).

Godzilla Minus One opens in Japanese theaters on November 3, 2023, followed by its arrival in US theaters on December 1, 2023.
