If you are a fan of Prime Video’s ultra-violent, ultra-twisted superhero series “The Boys,” you will be excited to learn that its spin-off series, “Gen V,” is headed your way later this week.
“Gen V” is set at a college run by Vought International for young-adult Supes. The series is described as “an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities.
The series’ massive cast includes Clancy Brown, Jaz Sinclair, Jason Ritter, Chance Perdomo, Shelley Conn, Lizzie Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Derek Luh, Sean Patrick Thomas, Alexander Calvert, Marco Pigossi. It is produced by Seth Rogen, Eric Kripke, and Evan Goldberg.
Don’t be surprised to see cameos from your favorite “The Boys” characters, including “Supernatural” star Jensen Ackles, who returns as Soldier Boy. “The Boys” stars Jessie T. Usher, P.J. Byrne, and Colby Minifie will also make an appearance.
The first three episodes of “Gen V” will premiere on Prime Video on September 29, 2023, with a new episodes being released weekly.
