New England Filmmaker, Geno McGahee, has released the trailer for the highly-anticipated anthology Scary Tales: Dead Zone, the third installment of the franchise, following Scary Tales and Scary Tales: Last Stop.
Standing out from the pack, this film brings “based on a true story” to another level. The four tale anthology features two tales that have been directly based on actual events, including a story concerning killer aliens, men in black and a UFO cover up.
In the film, “A couple on a drive end up lost deep in the woods. When their car runs out of gas, they walk and discover a house in the middle of nowhere. Inside, a strange man with an interesting past has some tales to tell but the creatures in the stories won’t stay on the pages. From the Muffin Man to aliens, a world of horror comes to life and there is no way out of the Dead Zone.”
The talented cast of indie stars include Eric Michaelian (Rise of the Scarecrows: Hell on Earth), Lorrie Bacon (Fetal Justice), Chris Spinelli (Deadly Western), Brent Northup (A Christmas Invitation), Jesse Waegelein-Hall (Rise of the Scarecrows: Hell on Earth), Oselito Joseph (Scrooge in the Hood), Adriana Medina (The Port), Phil Godeck (Super Duper Heist Squad) ), Pawel Watracz (Rise of the Scarecrows), Rick Caride (Deadly Western), Lisa J. Coleman (A Christmas Invitation) and introducing Gabbi Mendelsohn, Nick Sheldon, Danell Reese, Mark Carter, Shauna Wilson and Keyarra Edwards.
