Exclusive: First Cast Announced For Upcoming Sci-Fi Horror ‘Fiber Burn’

HorrorFuel has nabbed the exclusive on the upcoming sci-fi horror film Fiber Burn, which has just announced its cast and revealed its character posters.

 

In the film, directed by  Dusty Austen, “After a near-catastrophic 2nd civil war, the Internet is a thing of the past. A lonely young woman named Becca finds a decimated robot in a post-war junkyard. When she discovers it’s CPU A.I. is aware, the two develop an unlikely friendship. It’s only when she agrees to build a new body that its intentions become violently revealed, and the bloodshed begins. When the robot enables the home’s lockdown mode, no one in, no one out, Becca becomes trapped inside with the metal beast and must fight for her life in a deadly game of cat and mouse.”

 

The film from Street Rat Studios has officially started pre-production on Fiber Burn – An intense and gory sci-fi thriller inspired by the “new French extremity” movement of the late 90s/early 2000s.

 

The film’s first cast members to be announced include:

 

Spencer Madison as Rebecca Turzo: Spencer Madison, a rising star in the film industry known for Phantom Fun-World, Wolf Hollow, and Cold Feet, is set to play the pivotal role of Becca Turzo. Audiences can expect a stellar performance from Spencer as Becca navigates a post-war world and fights for her life against a vengeful robot.

 

 

Aimee Lynn Chadwick as Anne Murphy: Aimee Lynn Chadwick, known for her remarkable performances in A Cinderella Story, Return of the Living Dead: Necropolis, and “Tinsel’s Town,” will be taking on the role of Captain Anne Murphy in Fiber Burn. Her exceptional acting skills are set to breathe life into this gripping sci-fi tale.

 

 

Alex Beechko as Rachel Turzo: Alex Beechko, whose talent has been showcased in Myth, Hell House LLC: The Abbadon Hotel, and The City Is Like A Character In The Film, will portray Rachel Turzo. Alex’s versatility as an actor will add depth and complexity to this compelling story.
