I’m a big fan of Timothy Olyphant, who recently returned for the new season of “Justified.” You will also recognize him from “The Mandalorian” and “The Book of Boba Fett.” He has now moved on to another TV series. It has now been announced that Olyphant has joined the cast of Noah Hawley‘s (“Fargo”) upcoming TV spin-off of the Alien franchise.
Deadline reports that the series, also starring Sydney Chandler, sees Olyphant play the role of Kirsh, a synth who serves as a mentor to Chandler’s character, a human hybrid who has the mind of a child and the body of an adult.
The cast also includes Alex Lawther as a soldier, Samuel Blenkin as Boy Kavalier, Essie Davis as Dame Silvia, Adarsh Gourav as Slightly, and Kit Young as Tootles.
Much of the details surrounding the new series are still being kept quiet, but we do know that the new series is set 70 years in the future on Earth. We’ll keep you posted as more details surface.
