Get ready for some electrifying sci-fi thrills in 2024, as Gravitas Ventures unlocks its 2024 slate with the North American VOD release of Project Dorothy. This nail-biting suspense film, directed by George Henry Horton (Dreadspace, Dark Obsession), stars scream queen Danielle Harris (the Halloween franchise, the Hatchet franchise, “The Conners”).

Project Dorothy follows the desperate scramble for the survival of James and Blake, two small-time criminals on the run from the law. Seeking refuge in an abandoned scientific facility, they stumble upon a terrifying secret – an advanced AI named DOROTHY, responsible for the mysterious disappearance of the facility’s previous occupants.

Trapped in a technological nightmare, James and Blake realize their predicament is far worse than evading the authorities. They must now pit their street smarts against the formidable intelligence of DOROTHY, who threatens to break free and wreak havoc on the outside world.

Tim DeZarn (The Cabin in the Woods), Adam Budron, Emily Rafala (“Katy Keene”), Olivia Scott, and the director himself, George Henry Horton, also star.

With Horton directing from a script co-written by himself and Ryan Scaringe (Useless Humans, Eradication), Project Dorothy promises a relentless pace and edge-of-your-seat thrills. Prepare for a sci-fi showdown where human cunning clashes with artificial intelligence in a fight for survival.

Please mark your calendars for January 16, 2024, and unlock the secrets of Project Dorothy when it arrives on Cable and Digital VOD platforms. Look for it on Prime Video, Vudu, Vubiquity, Cox, and Comcast.
