After being hit with delays, the wait for Dune: Part Two is nearly over after a two-year wait. The new trailer has arrived, and we are given a glimpse of the fan-favorite character Feyd-Rautha, played by Austin Butler, a rival to Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet). The trailer also gives us a glimpse of the movie’s epic battle scenes that play out against a stunning backdrop. It also features the movie’s stars discussing the film.

Following Frank Herbert’s Classic Novel

Part Two will center on the character Paul Atreides. Who has been united with the Fremen after the murder of his father by sinister imperial forces. Thirsty for revenge, Duke wages war against those who destroyed his family while trying to prevent a terrifying future only he can foresee.

The Cast

Dune: Part Two features an impressive cast, including Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, and Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen. Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgard, Dave Bautista, and Javier Bardem also star.

More Dune in the Works

The original book, published in 1965, was followed by several sequels. So, it’s no surprise we will get more from the Dune universe. In addition to Part Two, a television spin-off titled “Dune: Prophecy” is also in the works from MAX. The premiere date has yet to be announced. Denis Villeneuve has previously stated that a third film is also in the cards, which will be based on Dune: Messiah.
